Erik Himel developed an interest in business and entrepreneurship early in life in his native Pennsylvania, which led to a BSBA in business management from Robert Morris University. After relocating to Los Angeles, Erik entered management and sales where he quickly helped several businesses grow several million dollars in sales revenue while managing a sales force of over 50 employees. Since Erik’s main passions were always music and entertainment, he changed his focus to a full time career in the music business. 

The longest running weekly residency at The Viper Room in Hollywood, California was produced and managed entirely by Erik. The event enjoyed a successful six year tenure and grossed over a million plus in revenue. Erik was responsible for negotiating collaborations and sponsorship deals with major musical equipment manufacturers such as the Roland Corporation, Telefunken and BAE Audio. Erik has produced over one thousand events worldwide to date. While producing these events Erik also began getting involved with charities such as The Crohns & Colitis Foundation, The Wires Wildlife Fund and MusiCares.

In 2021, Erik was the co-producer, co-owner and co-creator of critically acclaimed show “27”, which was the first residency show at Richard Branson’s newly opened Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas. The show was recognized by the Mayor of Las Vegas when it was assigned honorary day by the city. The success of “27” in Las Vegas has Erik currently responsible for overseeing the expansion of the show in several more markets. In collaboration with Ramy El-Batrawi, the CEO of Extraordinary Life Entertainment, Mr. Himel is co-developing additional residency shows for national and international use.
